Paul Hibbert
Paul Hibbert is a Director and Co Founder of Evogo Asset Finance, bringing over 35 years of deep expertise to the role. His distinguished career in the finance sector has been predominantly focused on Motor Asset Finance, with significant tenures at leading institutions such as The Bank of Scotland, Cattles Plc, and Evolution Funding Ltd. This extensive background has given him a unique, firsthand understanding of the industry’s landscape and the needs of its clients.
After a brief early retirement, Paul’s passion for the industry and a personal drive to simplify finance for businesses led him to collaborate with his former colleagues. He recognised an opportunity to leverage his experience to provide a better, more modern service. Together, they established Evogo Asset Finance as a new trading style of the well established Evogo Ltd.
Based in the industrial heartland of Sheffield, Paul and his colleague are dedicated to digitally transforming the asset finance process. Their mission is to provide businesses and individuals with a transparent, straightforward, and adaptable path to securing funding. Whether it’s for a high value private vehicle, a critical piece of business equipment, or an entire fleet, Paul is personally committed to ensuring every client receives the efficient and honest service they need to fuel their growth and Success.
When he’s not focused on the world of finance, Paul is a devoted family man. Happily married for over 30 years with a daughter who has recently “flown the nest,” he and his wife enjoy a good meal out (Indian and Italian being top choices), weekends away, and sunbathing holidays. A lifelong “petrol head,” Paul’s other great passion is classic cars. He loves attending local car meets, Cars N Coffee runs, breakfast meetings and concours competitions with fellow enthusiasts.
One of Pauls restorations was good enough to win the Lancaster Insurance “Pride of Ownership” award at the NEC Classic Car Show in 2020, amongst many other awards his cars have gained.
Several years ago, he created a simple Facebook group called “the Classic Porsche Owners Club” to document the restoration of an old Porsche. Today, that group has become a thriving worldwide community of over 76,000 followers/members, (without the royalties, Paul does add!)
