Your Right of Access
Under UK data protection law (specifically, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018), you have the right to request a copy of the personal data that EVOGO Ltd holds about you. This is known as a Subject Access Request (SAR).
How to Make a Subject Access Request
To make a SAR, please follow these steps:
- Identify Yourself: You will need to provide us with information to verify your identity. This is to protect your privacy and prevent unauthorised access to your data. Please include:
- Your full name
- Your current address
- Any previous addresses that might be relevant
- Your date of birth
- A copy of a valid photo ID (e.g., passport, driving licence)
- Your EVOGO account number (if applicable)
- Details of the specific information you are requesting (be as clear as possible to help us locate your data efficiently).

What Information You Can Request
You can request:
- Confirmation of whether we process your personal data.
- A copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Information about the purposes for which we process your data.
- Information about the categories of personal data we process.
- Information about who your data has been or will be disclosed to.
- Information about how long we store your data.
- Information about your rights, including the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and the right to object.
- Information about the source of your data (where it was not collected directly from you).
- Information about any automated decision making, including profiling.
Response Time
We will respond to your SAR without undue delay and, in any event, within one month of receiving your request. This timeframe may be extended by up to two further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. We will inform you of any such extension within one month of receiving your request, together with the reasons for the delay.
Fees
Generally, we will provide you with a copy of your personal data free of charge. However, we may charge a reasonable fee for the administrative costs of complying with your request if your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly because of its repetitive character. We may also charge a reasonable fee to comply with requests for further copies of the same information. We will inform you of any applicable fees before proceeding with your request.
Format of Response
We will provide you with the information in a commonly used electronic format, unless you request otherwise.
Limitations
In some limited circumstances, we may not be able to provide you with all of the information you request. This may be due to legal obligations, exemptions under data protection law, or the need to protect the rights and freedoms of others. If we are unable to comply with your request in full, we will explain the reasons for this to you.
