Screwball Rally 25- £62k Raised for Good Causes
James Burke one of our Directors has just marshalled 50 vehicles around a tour of Europe, in aid of charity!
What a year! Screwball Rally 2025 will go down as one of the most memorable yet, with 50 incredible teams taking on the challenge, clocking up thousands of miles across Europe, and most importantly raising over £62,000 for charities close to their hearts.
From the very start, the atmosphere was electric. Teams turned up with all manner of weird and wonderful creations. We had Trotter Independent Traders turning up in a very questionable VW Bora they “acquired” from Boycie, Thunderbird Two, and even an X-Wing fighter to name a few cruising along the autobahns.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Screwball without some classic challenges. The German police weren’t too impressed with a few of the more “creative” vehicle modifications, insisting some Screwballers strip them down before continuing the journey.
One of the standout moments was the funeral limo attempting (and completing!) a lap of the Nürburgring in just 15 minutes before promptly breaking down. A heroic effort and very much in the spirit of Screwball!
But above all, it was the people, the laughs, and the sense of adventure that made Screwball Rally 2025 unforgettable. The convoy of weird and wonderful cars, the late-night stories, the challenges overcome together, and the pride of knowing that every mile was for a good cause.
Thank you to everyone who took part, supported, or donated—you’ve helped make a huge difference.
Here’s to even bigger, more successful and more unforgettable adventures in 2026!
