Porsche Passion Takes Over Yorkshire
The Yorkshire Porsche Festival returned to its spiritual home in spectacular fashion on Sunday, August 10th. With over 750 cars on display, the event was a massive success, drawing a huge crowd on one of the warmest days of the year.
After a few years away at Sewerby Hall in Bridlington, the festival made a triumphant comeback. Main sponsors Strasse, along with Design 911 and Porsche Club GB, pulled together a magnificent event for all to enjoy. Visitors were treated to a stunning display of Porsches, from timeless classics to the latest modern models.
Beyond the cars, there was plenty to keep the whole family entertained. The Pims bar, a variety of food and beverage stalls, and an array of car-related stands created a vibrant festival atmosphere all day long.
The concours arena was a major highlight, with over 20 Porsches competing for top honors. Judged by Porsche Club GB, the competition showcased a fantastic range of vehicles from across the brand’s history. Congratulations to all the winners!
The Evogo Asset Finance team was there to take it all in and even entered the concours competition themselves. While they were unlucky to place this year, they’re no strangers to the kind of cars on display. Evogo specializes in providing funding solutions for these dream cars, whether it’s a 2002 Carrera GT or a 1974 911RS. They help turn dreams into reality, putting these amazing vehicles on driveways across the country.
